Its been a while but I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. I have been busy thought not here. In addition to the mourning of a death in the family and also a reunion of sorts. I have been working on my baskets diligently and will share them as soon as I've finished the images for them. One recent project which I am ready to share is a couple lines of t-shirts I've recently uploaded to Redbubble This post pic is an example of the work and it can be found here and check out the others I've posted as well. I had someone try to tell me today that science was bad, modern medicine was bad, and that prayer is the only real way to be whole. She shut up after I told her that I would have died at seven if not for an

appendectomy. I also told her of my Type 1 diabetic friends, who if given the choice between prayer and insulin choose the insulin every time. I think the lady thought the conversation was going to go different for her, and she really had nothing to say. Now the thing thats important for intelligent people to remember is that my response/argument to her is true, whether I happen to be present or not. I wonder if she will remember that also. This is three nested Klein Bottles. Created by Alan Bennett With the apparent objective of making us insane. You can think of this object as a 3-D mobius strip, or three 3-D mobius strips and can be constructed with

three pairs of 2-D Mobius strips. It can get a little confusing and thats before you throw in that this object has no inside or outside, and like the previous post on the crocheted coral reef, it was considered by many mathematicians to be an impossible object to create in tree dimensions. It wasn't until a crafts-person set everyone straight by actually creating them. The work of Alan Bennett can be found in science museums around the world and as a collection at the London Science Museum.

The Gömböc What Is It?

The Gömböc Is truly a strange object and or a while it existed only in theory. The defining characteristic is its ability to self right, and this is achieved by its having only one stable equilibrium point and one unstable
equilibrium point (the stable equilibrium point is at it's one state of rest, while the unstable point is everywhere else) The object must be homogeneous, without any weights inside (like a punching clown). Its existence was actually doubted for a long time, the main reason being that there's no analog to it in two dimensions and the same was assumed for three dimensions. It was the belief that there was no Gömböc that started one of its discoverers down the road to finally creating one. AudiOdyssey is a game which was created by the tech labs at MIT to level the video game playing field for the blind. I've been struggling at this game for like a year now, and the whole plan was, I get good at it. Then

This is a great site for anyone interested in the subject of perpetual motion machines. These day's they talk about over unity or zero point energy devices, but its all the same thing energy from nothing. So far nobody

has done it and according to the laws off thermodynamics no one ever will. This fact does seem wasted on the small number of people around the world who continue to study and experiment the subject. I first came across this letter many years ago on Donna Kossy's Kooks site and devoured the whole thing in a night, I have to say it was time well spent. The site is described by its creator as

""THE FREEZE-DRIED KOOKS MUSEUM". Open for all time and eternity, ceaseless, all-knowing and

unchanging". The description was only made the more true when it was relegated to the Web Archive. The site contains a collection of essays on a number of kooks and it has to be one of the most fascinating places on the web for those who love the bizarre. Its like the Mutter museum of the brain.

The case of David Fratus starts with a letter that would be easily dismissed as the product of a disturbed mind. If not for the fact that the its so well written and in itself rational. I have often wondered about what became of him but my own searches have thus far failed. below is an excerpt from the letter in question and If anyone knows anything more on the subject please let me know.

"I am currently involved in a crisis of a bizarre nature which I'm sure will be of utmost interest, providing you can find credence in what I relate and not summarily dismiss me as being a fantasy-stricken space case.
I'm being subjected to some type of remote control electronic brain punishment, in severity nothing less than outright torture, and the technology being utilized to execute this questionable action is not only highly specialized and sophisticated, but causes me to wonder whether knowledgeable authorities are even aware that a device of this nature exists. The credentials I can offer as to the veracity of these allegations are slim and none. I'm standing in a bad light to begin with, as I am a 38 year old inmate serving a 1 to 15 year sentence for 2nd degree burglary at the Utah State Prison, and the information contained within is in regard to my substantial problems with prison officials who would gladly have it believed that my word merits no credibility whatsoever. They have, in fact, gone to extreme lengths to insure that such is the case, and you will presently understand why. I have never been afflicted with psychological disorders of any kind, and am not given to fabricating stories with which to bother busy people or cause unnecessary commotion. I'm a convicted thief, not a liar".

I really enjoy this blog that I found called Musings. The pictures and words are alway's great. Yoli does a great job at making you feel at home there. Like a part of the family. Like her I also fenced when I was younger * and its rare
to find others who were involved in such a anachronistic sport. But I guess the main reason I had to introduce you to her blog is the photo of I believe to be her son, nicknamed Melon his picture can't help but make you smile.
